  Main areas of scientific research:

• testing of plant protection products of the updated assortment in different soil and climatic zones of Ukraine;
• studying the peculiarities of the development of pests, weeds and pathogens of plant diseases, their harmfulness with the aim of improving the technologies of pesticide application.

Practical developments:

systems for protecting sunflowers, potatoes and tomatoes from pests, diseases and weeds using a new range of pesticides;

systems of chemical protection of onions and cucumbers against diseases and weeds

cucumber protection system against false powdery mildew based on short-term forecast;

methods of simultaneous use of plant growth stimulants with fungicides in the protection of potatoes and tomatoes;

improved system of protection of onion seeds from diseases;

a method of increasing disease resistance of tomatoes;

technological regulations for the use of pesticides of a modern range to control the development of harmful organisms in crops of major agricultural crops;

methods of rational and ecologically oriented application of insecticides on field crops;

improved technology to protect soybeans from harmful organisms.

Job prospects:

• creating a database of modern plant protection products;
• optimization of chemical protection of the main agricultural crops in modern conditions of production;
• development of regulations for the use of plant protection products in order to reduce the pesticide load on the agroecosystem.
