SEMINAR "ORGANIZATION OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN MODERN SPACE (TIME MANAGEMENT, COMMUNICATION, METHODOLOGY)"

The world is changing every minute. Globalization, European integration, total computerization have long since become not the future, but the present. And at all times, it was the youth who were the driving force of the change processes and tried to meet the requirements of the time. The most valuable resources are time and connections with society. As practice shows, both are in short supply.

On November 2, 2018, the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine held a seminar at its institution "Organization of scientific research in the modern space (time management, communication, methodology)". Scientists from many scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as well as higher educational institutions, were invited to the seminar. Representatives from the Podillia Institute of Fodder and Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management of Ukraine, the Institute of Bioenergy Crops and Sugar Beet of the National Academy of Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine arrived.

Meaningful and large-scale scientific reports were made by young scientists of the Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Sciences:

• Kateryna Mykhaylivna Balvas-Gremyakova "Conducting scientific research using the basic principles of time management"
• Bomok Svitla Konstintinivna "Means of modern scientific communication"
• Iryna Valeryivna Kyrychuk «Methods of field research in beet agrocenoses"

During the seminar, the following questions were revealed: how to plan your scientific research; how to prioritize, set goals and objectives; which basic methods of time management are better to use in scientific work; what is scientific communication; how to work with scientometric databases of the world and Ukraine; field research methodology. The exchange of modern scientific information and the strengthening of creative ties between scientific institutions are the key to success, effectiveness, and the successful solution of economic and social problems of society.
