Today, on the basis of the Institute of Irrigated Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences, the International Field Day was held on the issues of growing winter and spring grain, technical and leguminous agricultural crops on irrigated and non-irrigated land.
Almost 300 people took part in it. The participants of the event got acquainted with the scientific achievements and developments of the Institute and inspected the demonstration sites of the latest achievements of domestic and foreign agricultural science in the field of breeding winter wheat, barley, corn, soybeans, alfalfa, peas, chickpeas, mung bean, oil flax, winter rapeseed, safflower, sunflower and their cultivation technologies. The guests were presented with innovative technologies of artificial humidification in irrigated agriculture, the use of modern tools and information tools in field conditions, and modern equipment for soil cultivation, sowing and harvesting crops.
