Operational information on the phytosanitary status of agricultural crops in Ukraine as of October 16, 2025.

In unharvested crops corn harm stem (corn) butterfly – 60-62% of the areas are inhabited at the rate of 1.0 specimens/plant, 2-8% of plants are damaged (Transcarpathian, Kirovohrad regions), mouse-like rodents – 14% of the area, 0.1 colonies/ha (Lviv region).

Fusarium 18-30% of the corn area is affected, the maximum is 62% of the area (Kirovohrad region), 2-6% of the plants due to the development of the disease, 1-2% (Transcarpathia, Volyn region), blisterandthat little bit - 7-29% of the area, 1-3% of the plants due to the development of the disease 0.3-1% (Volynsk, Lviv region), locally - 100% (Volynsk region), moldy cobs – 71% of the area, 1-3% of plants due to the development of the disease 0.3% (Lviv region), olive mold – 38% of the area, 2-3% of plants (Ternopil Region), rust – 29% of the area, 2-4% of the plants due to the development of the disease 0.5% (Lviv region).

Unharvested crops sunflowerand affected white rot – 17% of the area, 5-7% of the plants due to the development of the disease, 3-4% (Kirovohrad Region), gray rot – 40% of the area, 8-10% of the plants with the development of the disease 6-8% (Kirovohrad region).

Omnivorous pests

Meadow butterfly: on perennial grasses, non-arable lands, up to 3% of plants are slightly damaged by caterpillars in numbers or 0.5-1.0 specimens/m2 on 6-8% of the area (Odesa region).

Stem (corn) butterfly: in corn crops, 2-8% of plants and 1.5-7% of cobs were damaged, mostly to a weak degree, by caterpillars in the amount of 1 specimen/plant on 60-62% of the areas in the fallow areas (Zakarpattia, Kirovohrad, , Khmelnytskyi regions).

White beans (rapeseed, cabbage): on winter rapeseed, cabbage of late varieties, non-arable lands and wastelands on 4-30% of the area, at most - on 100% of the area (Poltava, Kherson region), a weak flight of butterflies is observed in the amount of 1-2 specimens. in the field of vision in 10 min. (Poltava Region) or 1-2 copies. by 10 steps, and their caterpillars in the amount of 0.3-2 copies/m2 or 1-9 copies/plant damaged 0.3-5% of plants mostly to a weak degree (Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Odesa, Poltava, Ternopil, Kherson, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi regions).

Nibbling scoops (winter, autumn): in crops of winter rapeseed, winter wheat, perennial grasses, stubble of cereal and oil crops on 4-62% of the area, maximum - on 100% of the area (Poltava region) by caterpillars in numbers of 0.2-2.0 ex./m2, 0.7-4% of plants were damaged to a weak degree (Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy regions).

Leaf-gnawing scoops (cotton, cabbage): in crops of winter rapeseed, on cabbage and perennial grasses, 6-74% of the area is inhabited by caterpillars, a maximum of 100% of the area (Lviv, Poltava regions), in numbers of 1.0-2.0 specimens/plant, or 0.5-10 ex./m2 1-6% of plants were damaged to a weak degree (Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Chernivtsi regions).

Wirewrights and fake wirewrights  in crops of winter rapeseed, winter wheat, corn, in the fields after spring wheat, on potatoes, carrots, 32-50% of the area is settled, the maximum - 100% of the area (Lviv region) with the number of 0.3-2.0 specimens/m2 (Kyiv region, Lviv region, Khmelnytsky region, Chernivtsi region).

Larvae of roaches  in crops of winter rapeseed, winter wheat, corn, in the fields after spring wheat, potatoes, carrots, 33-43% of the area is settled, the maximum is 100% of the area (Lviv region) at the number of 0.5-2.0 specimens/m2 (Kyiv, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi regions).

Saranovi (Italian Prussian): in unplowed fields after winter wheat and rapeseed, winged individuals are found sporadically at the rate of 1 ex./m2 (Zaporizhia region).

Mouse-like rodents: in crops of winter rapeseed, winter wheat, winter barley, unharvested crops of corn, on stubble and carrion of grain and oil crops, perennial grasses, non-arable lands, roadsides, in gardens and forest strips, on vegetable crops of the private sector on 1-72% of the area, at most - on 100% of the area (Volynska, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Poltava, Rivne, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi regions) the number is from single burrows to 5 colonies/ha for 1-6 residential burrows/colony, maximum - up to 7-15 (Kyiv, Kirovohrad regions) residential burrows/colony (Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv regions).
