Operational information on the phytosanitary state of crops  agricultural crops in Ukraine  at 05 March 2026

Sowing of winter crops (winter wheat, winter barley, winter rapeseed) is in a state of winter dormancy.

In crops winter rape overwintering infection was detected phomosis, however, the development of the disease does not occur in conditions of a low temperature regime (Transcarpathian region).

Omnivorous pests

Mouse-like rodents: in crops of winter wheat, winter barley, winter rapeseed, on perennial grasses, in gardens, forest strips, on unharvested corn fields, arable land, fallow land, roadsides, pastures, 2-64%, maximum - up to 80-100% of the area is inhabited (Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia, Sumy, Ternopil region), in the number of single burrows to 4 colonies/ha, for 1-4, in some places (Kirovohrad region) - up to 7-8 residential burrows/colony (Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhya, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Kherson regions).
