The Ukrainian Association of Potato Producers will initiate before the State Production and Consumer Service of Ukraine the issue of developing methodological recommendations regarding quarantine objects on potatoes - cancer, brown bacterial rot, globoderosis (the causative agent is the golden potato cyst-forming nematode) and others, in accordance with the requirements of the European Union and with the participation of the Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Sciences.
According to the organization of training seminars and Field Days by the Ukrainian Association of Potato Growers, the Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Sciences will always participate in these events, highlighting its achievements in solving issues related to the protection of potato culture from diseases and pests.
Provide assistance to potato producers in borrowing experience regarding EU regulatory acts that regulate issues related to export of products.
