DEVELOPMENT OF RESEARCH POTENTIAL IN UKRAINE: WEBINAR SERIES OF NFDU AND SCIENCE EUROPE CONTINUES

Science Europe (SE) and its member organizations have been supporting the National Research Fund of Ukraine (NFDU) and the Ukrainian scientific community since the first days of the full-scale war. As part of this partnership, NFSU and Science Europe are holding a series of online webinars from September 2025 dedicated to the development of the Ukrainian research and innovation ecosystem. The initiative is aimed at strengthening the capacity of Ukrainian science, supporting the management of research projects in the conditions of war and post-war reconstruction, as well as expanding the opportunities of Ukrainian scientists in the international scientific space.

During 2025-2026, 3 webinars have already been held within the series:

  1. 19 September 2025 – Balance between contests with open subject matter and targeted financing exijin Report according to the results webinar
  2. November 25, 2025 – development and implementation tools monitoring scientific and research projects Report according to the results webinar
  3. February 20, 2026 – Politicians and practices open science in activity institutions, What finance exaction Report according to the results webinar

The new cycle of events will bring together representatives of the Ukrainian and European scientific community to discuss approaches to evaluating scientific activity, practical aspects of managing research projects, and strategies for minimizing risks in the process of research funding.

Schedule carrying out webinarsin in 2026 year

  • 26 June 2026 – Transformation systems assessment exijin: criteria, quality and social influence
  • 18 September 2026 – Financial management exidentical projects: from presentation grant applications to successful implementation
  • November 27, 2026 – Management risks in financing exijin: approaches, tools and international practice

Time of webinars: 11:00-12:30 Kyiv time (10:00-11:30 Central European time).

The language of the events is English, simultaneous translation into Ukrainian will be available for participants.
