On October 26, 2017, the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine held a seminar "Prospects for the development of biological protection in Ukraine" in their institution. Scientists from many scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as well as higher educational institutions, were invited to the seminar. Representatives from the Institute of Zoology named after I.I. Schmalhausen National University of Ukraine, National University of Bioresources and Nature Management of Ukraine, Dnipropetrovsk National University named after Oles Honchar.
Interesting and large-scale scientific reports were made by young scientists of the Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Sciences:
It was noted that the Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Sciences has great achievements in the development and implementation of the biological method of protecting plants from pests and diseases and can be a scientific-methodological and consulting center when planning research in this field within Ukraine. Therefore, the strengthening of creative connections will contribute to increasing the effectiveness of these studies and, at the same time, to the successful solution of scientific, as well as global food, environmental and social problems.
