August 20 of this year a symposium on scientific and technical cooperation between the city of Dunyan (PRC) and the city of Kyiv (Ukraine) was held in the conference hall "Starokyivskyi" with the participation of employees of the Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Sciences and other research institutions of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
A presentation by Retman S.V. on the topic "Scientific support of plant protection". During the meeting, the parties exchanged directions and proposals for further cooperation between the countries in various spheres of activity.
The Chinese side provided an opportunity to get acquainted with the possibilities of the city of Dunyang (PRC), which occupies the second largest place in the PRC, and the directions of its development both in the agricultural sphere and in industry, the possibilities for its development and the involvement of scientific technologies according to the proposals of the Ukrainian side.
The parties exchanged contacts and methodical materials, and agreed to further exchange information in the interest of the parties, with its further implementation.
International activity
In July 2018 The Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Agricultural Development Corporation of Bangladesh signed a Memorandum of Understanding in which the parties agreed to develop and strengthen international relations in the field of science and technology, which has the opportunity to further develop ties at both the public and private levels in the agricultural sectors of both countries.
