Participation of employees and collectors in the All-Ukrainian Field Day — Wheat Days!

Employees and applicants of the Institute of Plant Protection took part in the All-Ukrainian Field Day - Wheat Day, which took place on June 12, 2025 on the basis of the Myroniv Wheat Institute named after V. M. Remesla, where they had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the leading achievements of Ukrainian agricultural science in the field of wheat breeding: the latest varieties of grain ear crops of the leading scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; modern growing technologies; an exhibition of seed materials and agricultural innovations, etc.

The Institute of Plant Protection and the Myroniv Institute of Wheat named after V. M. Remesla have close cooperation on the creation of wheat varieties with group resistance to fungal pathogens. Joint work is being carried out on the creation of artificial infectious backgrounds on selection crops with the aim of identifying and selecting resistant forms and further involving them in the selection process.
