On April 28, 2026, a webinar was held at the Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Sciences on the topic: "Ecological toxicology of pesticides: modern analytical approaches and risk management»
More than 100 participants from all regions of Ukraine took part in the webinar, including representatives of scientific institutions, educational institutions, agricultural producers, etc.
The participants of the webinar were presented with reports: "Ecological evaluation of the chemical method of plant protection: pesticide control methods and ecotoxicological monitoring» (speaker - Tsurkan Olesya Volodymyrivna, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences of Sciences, head laboratories of analytical chemistry and toxicology of pesticides) and "The concept and strategy of using chemical plant protection agents in agrocenoses" (speaker - Olga Hryhorivna Vlasova, Candidate of Agriculture Science, leading science. collaborator of the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry and Toxicology of Pesticides).
From the presentations of scientists, the attendees learned about modern innovative methods of pesticide control in agrocenoses, conceptual approaches to predictive modeling of the process of pesticide detoxification in agrocenoses objects based on the laws of process kinetics, and an emergent system of indicators for ecological assessment of chemical protection in agricultural cultivation technologies and integrated protection of rural areas.cultures, on the regulatory and legal support and strategic principles of the application of chemical plant protection methods in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Pesticides and Agrochemicals", on the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation in the field of plant protection to the requirements of the European Union regulations, on the environmental risks of using chemical plant protection agents for people, the environment, soils, on the resistance of harmful organisms to pesticides, etc.
