Dear colleagues!
We invite you to take part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference
CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
AGRICULTURE
September 19 2025 year
Participants of the scientific and practical conference will have the opportunity to receive new proposals regarding cultivation and directions of use of non-traditional fruit, medicinal and essential oil crops.
The event is devoted to important issues of today in the following areas:
1. Global challenges of climate change and their impact on agriculture. As part of the direction, it is planned to consider reports on forecasts and modeling of climate changes in the 21st century, on the economic and social consequences of climate instability, as well as reports on temperature anomalies, droughts and extreme weather events, on soil degradation, on the reduction of water resources and the role of biodiversity in the preservation of sustainable agroecosystems, etc.
2. Innovation in agriculture to adapt to climate change. It is planned to include reports on the role of digital technologies in monitoring climate change, on agro-ecological approaches, namely adaptation and mitigation, on innovative strategies for managing water resources and fertilizers, on the development of artificial intelligence models for various branches of agriculture, on precision agriculture as a tool for reducing CO₂ emissions, etc.
3. Adaptation strategies for different agricultural regions. Papers addressing regional differences would be suitable for this area: northern regions - growing crops in risky farming areas and/or arid regions - strategies to combat drought and soil erosion and/or conservation agriculture as an adaptation pathway.
4. Participation of communities and farmers in the fight against climate change. The section proposes to consider issues of education and raising farmers' awareness of climate risks, the role of local communities in the implementation of environmental initiatives, adaptation of small farms to climate change, etc.
5. Post-war recovery of the agricultural sector and implementation of sustainable practices. This direction includes issues of restoring the agricultural sector after conflicts (clearing and reclamation of agricultural lands after military operations, development of logistics infrastructure to ensure food security, socio-economic support of rural communities in the post-conflict period) and issues of rebuilding sustainable agriculture with the participation of communities (involvement of communities in the restoration of agricultural lands, adaptation to climate change and sustainable development of farms, development of small farms and protection of biodiversity in the recovery process).
