This webinar is devoted to key issues of academic integrity in the context of open data, open access to publications, and collaborative research projects. The webinar addressed fundamental principles of academic ethics, including issues of plagiarism, falsification of data, and fraudulent citation in the digital environment. Also, mechanisms for ensuring transparency and reproducibility of research results.

It was separate considered the role and functions of the Committee on the Ethics of Scientific Research (IRB - Institutional Review Board) in ensuring ethical standards, procedures for obtaining ethical permission for research involving people, as well as adapting traditional ethical procedures to the requirements of open science and international cooperation.
