Development of powdery mildew (causing agent - Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici) on winter wheat plants
Line of soft winter wheat with new wheat-rye translocation 1BL.1RS of the Vyshyvanka type, resistant to powdery mildew. The line has a leaf curling mutation, which is a morphological marker of drought resistance.

On April 15, 2025, the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference "Integrated plant protection is the key to the stability of the phytosanitary state of agrocenoses of Ukraine" was held at the Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the Doctor of Biological Sciences, professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences, laureate of the State Prize in the field of science and technology, honored worker of science and technology Mykhailo Pavlovich Lisovoy of Ukraine. The purpose of the conference was to highlight current issues of protection of agricultural crops from harmful organisms under modern conditions and scientific discussions of scientists, exchange of scientific experience, ideas, results of scientific research and commemoration of the outstanding scientist Mykhailo Pavlovich Lisovoy.
